Dear Friends,

Just received offical word on Tlakaelel's workshop here June 30th. I've included Bert's email also containing other news about Peace camp and friends. Last year was a wonderful experience and a chance to study with a traditional Aztec/Toltec Elder. Tlakaelel always has so much to share and at nearly 87, it is a wonderful gift to have him travel here. There may be a sweat lodge if there is interest and time. There are places to throw your sleeping bag or tent if any of you would wish to do so. And as always, please support our Elders with donations and some food/drink to share (potluck/picnic fixinz). Traveling is alway expensive and Tlakaelel shares with many people and lives very humbly. There is never a charge but help if you can in any way. Every small amount helps a great deal. If you can't afford it please don't let this stop you from comming. As Tlakaelel often states, "We are all teachers and all students".

Tlakaelel will be doing the workshop from 1 to 5 but people can certainly come earlier for a walk in the woods or to chat. Donations are asked for, as is traditional. Tlakaelel put whatever money he receives to travel expences and The Pyramid of Peace project, which has a university and clinic.

I know it is a busy time with vacations and gardens and picnics but as always, it is a wonderful opportunity to study with a truly humble and Loving Elder working for Peace.

Love and Peace to you all! Davey & Alice

A note from friend, Bert Gunn
Hi Everybody,

Tlakaelel and I meet in San Francisco tomorrow to begin the June trip which will take us to California, Maine, Connecticut, New York, and Pensylvania all in a month. Please sign up for Peace Camp!! It is June 15-17. I know a lot of you are coming, so please let us know so we can organize the food and all ahead of time. We are honored to have a number of wonderful and inspiring Elders with us this year; Tlakaelel, Grandmother Sara, Arnie Neptune, Grandmother Celia, and hopefully Whippoorwill (she has a date conflict but may make it for a part). The camp has a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom, and there are some lean'to's and cabins if you don't have a tent (cabins may be a bit musty, and you will still need a sleeping bag and pad, but let us know if you need anything).

Also, please sign up for the spring intensive (well, now the June intensive) June 22-25th. details on the website. It will be a chance to go into greater depth in the teachings which we all have been looking for. There is a suggested donation for this workshop, but it is only suggested and we want you to come, so please plan to come whatever you can afford.

If you need to reach me while we are gone, I will be in Email contact almost every day, and my Cell phone is 860-428-2096. I hope to see you all on our travels, warmest greetings to you all.

Bert
