| Notes: |
Then pendant for this piece I found in the Washington Boro, Pa. area
along Susquehanna River. It is a pottery shard from a pot made by the
Susquehannoux Indians (circa 1400 - 1600AD) and the incised marks can be
seen clearly. Sometimes I have found shards that contain an ancient
thumb or finger print in the fired clay. The necklace is strung with
glass beads. It measures approx. 26" and can easily be slipped over the
head. |
