Example- I was working in my studio during a storm and witnesed a limb falling from a sassafrass tree. I immediately went outside, cut a piece off and mounted it on the turning lathe and made this bowl. I was moved to stain it transparent red. It is turned thin and warpped in the drying process, which I sometime find nturally attractive. It measures 3 1/2" tall x 3" in diameter. Custom bowls available in natural wood or stained transparent colors.
